Postmortem

A number of organizations began issuing somewhat expensive queries at the same time. This caused a system-wide slowdown as the query-processing servers reached capacity and couldn't keep up. Reducing the incoming query load allowed the platform to clear the built-up backlog and resume normal operation.

It appears that a query traffic burst is overloading our analysis servers. We are working to confirm and to isolate the impact.
